GIS Technician/Developer

Jasmine joined Geo-Logic as a part-time employee in March 2009. She
has a background in physical geography and completed a BSc (Geog) at
Canterbury University in 2000. After leaving university Jasmine worked
as an assistant seismologist in Australia, before returning to New
Zealand to start her family.
Throughout her time at university, Jasmine developed a keen interest
in the field of GIS. Since beginning at Geo-Logic she has continued to
develop her skills in this area, creating site plans and maintaining
the geodatabase for Geo-Logic projects. |

Jasmine says:
GIS technology provides invaluable information and helps to
answer questions and solve problems by looking at data in a way that is
quickly understood and easily shared. Not only does GIS accelerate the
site-analysis process, it also allows site design and engineering
professionals the ability to create a recognisable base to which
property owners and developers can relate.
GIS is a rapidly-advancing field and I am looking forward to utilising and developing the technology at Geo-Logic. |
